I'm probably breaking away for a while on here. Real life is a real bitch. Shits been just imploding and hitting hard lately. I need to reconnect with all of my soldiers at the funeral and keep in touch. My oath never expired, but we have to do SOMETHING to stop the suicides. I truly do not have the answer. But I know I need to work harder on it for all the Joes and Janes I invested a lifetime of blood sweat and tears into.

Bottom line, this week just streat up broke me. I'm heartbroken, I'm disillusioned, things are shitty. It shouldn't be this way ever. We have to find a way to let our people know that we're vested with them for LIFE, and no matter how bad it gets, our love for them outweighs the trials and tribulations. I just have no idea how to effectively convey this, because despite my best efforts, the phone never rings for help, it rings for a funeral notification. I'm just seriously beat down right now. I've offered everything of myself to my troops, even after retirement. I would gladly get up at 3 AM and drive 4 hours or more to help a brother or sister I need even though I'm out. I do not care. I just don't know why this keeps happening.
