@deft_gfx Our environment and the people we relate with subconsciously shape us in ways we don’t even realize. That’s why being in a good environment is one of the best things we can do for ourselves
@ryzeprotocol I’ve been looking at DeFi projects on Base, yours stood out. The waitlist post gets views but very few clicks.
Makes me think it might be an issue with the post and how the message is landing, rather than the product itself.

@CryptoDefiLord People don’t understand what it’s like to believe deeply in a project. If it succeeds, they call it “diamond hands”, if it also fails, people will criticize it. Just do your thing and hope for the best
A lot of AI projects in crypto are just wrappers around hype.
The real winners will be the ones solving distribution, compute, or data ownership problems.
@Babzi_web3 To be truly valuable, you can’t help everyone in the same way. The biggest impact comes from understanding a specific group of people and serving them really well
Web2 and Web3 mainly differ in what they focus on. Web2 is built for simplicity, apps are easy, fast, and familiar to use, but users have limited control over their data or assets. Web3 is built around user control and ownership, but that comes with more complexity and friction.
Web3 projects often miss how much culture affects adoption. People in China and the U.S. can engage very differently, with different expectations and behavior. Many fail by using one global approach, while the best ones focus on understanding people, not just tech
Founders and teams will likely keep doing this. But community members will also start realizing when they’re being used for hype before a dump at TGE, and will become more cautious about where they put their time and trust
Tons of projects use their community to gain traction, then totally sideline them at TGE.
Then they crime pump their token 10x after TGE, making money on perps and by dumping team allocations on CEXs.
Terrible trend, but I fear we're gonna see more of this as teams realize that what they're building is inherently worthless, and their token will go to zero before they can cash out if they follow the traditional path
