@Kadzima7 @showxr@DrakoMystic@HUN2R And perhaps it was sex-adjacent, but not directly sex. In that case, it could have been poor judgement but nothing major. Truth is tho, people have legit called him a pedo. Had he been, he'd be in jail and Twitch wouldn't have paid him out.
@Kadzima7 @showxr@DrakoMystic@HUN2R My point is that Doc said on a few occasions it "leaned toward inappropriate." That doesn't mean sexual solicitation. Hell, a big dick joke or a dark humor joke that is sex-adjacent could be looked at as inappropriate.
Point is, there is a LOT of assuming it is sex.
@Kadzima7 @showxr@DrakoMystic@HUN2R So, let's say you're a famous gamer celebrity streamer. You have TONS of fans. Is it weird to engage with them, even on DM's? I don't think so.
Next, what does inappropriate mean? An off-color joke, banter, hot button topics/issues?
This matters.
@HUN2R@HUN2R I may have missed something, but where did Doc message a minor in order to solicit them for sex? Can you show us where this is the case? You say he got caught which is why it didn't happen, so you must have proof he intended to do so, right?
@AvengeBerry He never admitted to sexting a minor or doing anything sexual with them. He is not an "admitted pedophile" and it is very unlikely Twitch would have paid him out had he been sexting one on THEIR platform. Against the law, against Twitch terms.
@4M9jilbV0pRJ5IT @BluntConspiracy @FearedBuck So again, you can point to his tweet all you want, but nowhere on there did he say he sexted anyone, met up with anyone, or exchanged photos with anyone that was a minor.
If he had done so, it would have been a crime. Twitch wouldn't have paid him. Tell me how I'm wrong.
@4M9jilbV0pRJ5IT @BluntConspiracy @FearedBuck Speaking of his first stream back, he went into great detail about this. Twitch had access to his DM's, they banned him which means they reviewed the case, and had a legal obligation to turn over to law enforcement if he did break the law. That didn't happen.
@4M9jilbV0pRJ5IT @BluntConspiracy @FearedBuck Yes, he admitted to having DM's. Great, you won that argument.
Now, to the main point: did he commit a crime or sext this minor? No. He'd have gotten charged and Twitch would not have had to pay him out.
Also, he talked about this on his first stream back.
@Bisco_761@BurakkuFlash@FearedBuck Wait a sec here... he is a gaming celebrity and has tons of fans. To think the he would never engage with them is idiotic. That's like saying "why would [insert famous singer here] ever engage with a fan?!" It is moronic and you don't get to make the rules of his relationship.
@_fazzo@CadesAttorney@FearedBuck fazzo, sounds like you lost an argument and have to rely on homo projection. It is clear: if Doc broke the law by sexting a minor, Twitch wouldn't have had to pay him. He'd have caught a case too. He didn't, and they paid him.
It is simple.
@CrispyGN@JTSteelflex@DramaAlert Doc admitted that he cheated on his wife. We don't know exactly what that entailed, but he did based on his own definition of cheating.
How that relates to this incident directly, in terms of the accusation of sexting a minor, is beyond me. And that is between he and his wife.
@Rich86844160@CadesAttorney@FearedBuck And again, if he DID sext this minor, then Twitch wouldn't have had to pay him out, and law enforcement would have been notified. If they were notified, then there were no charges.
Either he sexted or he didn't. It is clear to me he didn't.
@Rich86844160@CadesAttorney@FearedBuck So let's say this person was a fan of his and he engaged with them in DM's. Now, let's say that he made some jokes or engaged in banter that, for someone who is not an adult, could "lean toward inappropriate."
That doesn't have to have anything to do with creepy or sex talk.
@MarvelSnap64505@CadesAttorney@FearedBuck How about this: you show me EXACTLY WHERE he said he admitted to "sexting."
I know that you won't because it doesn't exist.
@tomorrowtodaylo@JTSteelflex@DramaAlert What terrible logic: somehow I have some fantasy of a friendship with Doc simply because I think he got shafted and I make counter arguments to other people talking about the SAME topic?
You're the idiot if you cannot understand this fallacy.
@CrispyGN@JTSteelflex@DramaAlert He is a HUGE streamer. He probably has fans of all ages, both male and female, messaging him. I see ZERO issue engaging with fans. That isn't weird. If he was sexting them, that's different, but that clearly wasn't going on here else Twitch wouldn't have settled.
@Ojtiv02@JTSteelflex@DramaAlert "If you defend doc your just a weirdo" - you cannot make that claim unless you can tell me what was "inappropriate" about his DM's. According to his stream, he said there was banter and jokes, but no sexting or abuse.
So, how's that weird, exactly?
@Ojtiv02@JTSteelflex@DramaAlert Quick question: did you watch Doc's monologue on his first stream back? If the answer is yes, then you're a moron because you can't understand words. If the answer is no, then you have no fucking clue what he "admitted to."
@JTSteelflex@DramaAlert That's what I'm saying. He acts like he couldn't just pick up the fucking phone and hear the other side. Instead, he cherry picks a couple words from Doc's tweet and decides to bail, ignoring the rest of it? FUCK NICKMERCS.
If you're reading this Nick, fuck you.
