Το Υπουργείο Εξωτερικών έχει προκηρύξει τον 5ο ετήσιο διαγωνισμό για το Βραβείο Ανθρωπίνων Δικαιωμάτων «Στέλλα Σουλιώτη» για το 2025.

Η διαδικασία υποβολής υποψηφιοτήτων αρχίζει στις 19 Σεπτεμβρίου και λήγει στις 10 Νοεμβρίου 2025.

Το βραβείο, ύψους 10.000 ευρώ, θα απονεμηθεί τον Δεκέμβριο στο πλαίσιο της Παγκόσμιας Ημέρας Ανθρωπίνων Δικαιωμάτων.

With 🇨🇾 assuming the Presidency of the Council of the 🇪🇺 from 🇩🇰 Denmark in a few weeks' time, on January 1st, we look forward to close cooperation on our shared priorities and the work that lies ahead.

Η πρωτοβουλία «Minds in Cyprus» αποτελεί την έναρξη μιας εθνικής στρατηγικής για τον επαναπατρισμό ταλέντου, με στόχο τη μετάβαση της Κύπρου στην οικονομία της γνώσης, αξιοποιώντας το ανθρώπινο δυναμικό της διασποράς.

Η πρώτη εκδήλωση θα πραγματοποιηθεί στο Λονδίνο, στις 21 Μαΐου, με τη συμμετοχή πάνω από 750 Κυπρίων του Ηνωμένου Βασιλείου και τη συνδιοργάνωση της Προεδρίας, του Invest Cyprus και του ΚΕΒΕ. Συμμετέχουν επίσης 20 κυπριακές επιχειρήσεις και Κέντρα Αριστείας, παρουσιάζοντας ευκαιρίες απασχόλησης και συνεργασίας.

Ο Πρόεδρος της Δημοκρατίας θα παρουσιάσει το Εθνικό Σχέδιο Δράσης για τον Επαναπατρισμό Ταλέντου, που περιλαμβάνει μέτρα για εργασία, καινοτομία, φορολογία, εκπαίδευση και οικογενειακή στήριξη.
