I watched a documentary on Vikings and Scandinavians who would infuse the bones of pets and loved ones into their swords because they believed the souls in the bones made the swords stronger, and you couldn't argue with them because… it worked!

Upon recent scientific examination, it was discovered that the iron around them was simply brittle and not good for weapons.

Upon fusing with the bones in heat, the carbon in the bones mixed with the brittle iron and formed steel. When steel is forged, you get a stronger sword.

They were accidentally making steel, not calling on their ancestors or loved ones.
That has me thinking… in a thousand years, if human civilization still exists, would they laugh at our facts now?

"Can you believe our ancestors thought gravity was the curvature of space that pulls objects together?"

"Can you believe early humans thought light was the fastest particle in the universe?"

And to them, it'll seem unfathomable how wrong we were.
Even the dumbest kid in science class would look at us as primitives..

remember a month ago when spx was down 10% and trump was threatening to nuke kharg island at the bottom? everyone was convinced he was going to do it and flipped giga bearish. the bears victory lapped and the last bull capitulated. in hindsight that was the definition of peak fear. sure it was POSSIBLE, maybe < 5%, but the right tail of trump not doing it was severely underpriced; cc the market going up in a straight line to new highs

what if we’re in a similar spot with bitcoin and michael saylor? the entire market is fully convinced saylor has to “blow up.” i’m not sure most fully understand what that means? the saylor overhang has been priced in by institutions for months evident in btc/spx & btc/gold. it has been absolutely destroyed during a generational bull market. i refuse to accept everyone is JUST NOW realizing the saylor problem. maybe a lot of us on crypto twitter are but we don’t control the flows.

no idea how saylor wiggles his way out of this jam and i must admit an emphatic deleveraging into strategy blowing up with a final dat cleansing seems like a fitting bottom but when do we ever get a well predicted fitting bottom on schedule

all im saying is feels pretty fucking fearful right now
