AI is a tool, and like every major technological shift, it's becoming part of modern workflows. Companies adopt new technologies because standing still means falling behind.
The real discussion isn't whether AI exists or whether it should disappear. It's how it's used.
Using AI to speed up research, brainstorming, repetitive tasks, or production pipelines is very different from using it to replace artists, exploit their work, or profit from stolen content.
Technology itself isn't ethical or unethical. The people using it are.
That's why "AI bad" is an oversimplification. The conversation should focus on responsible and ethical use, not on rejecting innovation altogether.
And this is what I mean when I say I do not support AI.
It's not hypocritical. I've always been clear that I do not support AI-generated "art" built on stolen work, nor people passing AI images off as genuine renders or artistic creations. There's nothing artistic in that and I still stand by that position today.
Technology is neutral. The responsibility lies with the people behind it.
@Flying_Wild_Hog is made up of incredibly talented artists who share the same passion and vision for this franchise. What they've shown with LoA is the best thing to happen to Tomb Raider in the last 18 years.
I'll continue to support this project and this development team, and I'll defend their work for as long as they keep delivering it with the talent, passion, and respect they've shown so far.
