@British_Airways I’ve had a baggage claim reference since Friday. I’m now in a different country. This is 6 days out! I checked the portal and your system now says it can no longer find my ref number!!! I kept screenshots in case you would fuck this up (1/2)
@darendefrank@British_Airways@HeathrowAirport Shipping address (2). I’ve called every number possible and even drove to the holding facility. They wouldn’t let me get it. I still have a whole additional week and a half on travels. Safe to say I’ll seek legal console against @British_Airways soon

They finally moved the baggage to a holding facility where numerous shipping vendors can handle moving forward, but guess who leaves to a completely different country without their stuff. On top of that the airline website will not let me update the (1)
@kathy1philips@British_Airways@HeathrowAirport You are lucky it’s at Slough. That’s the couriers facility. At least you have the ability to get it. After that a courier drives around dropping bags off. That was my wife’s situation Saturday. Mine is still in the terminal!

@darendefrank@British_Airways@British_Airways is there anything else that can be done to expiate this? I will be departing to Switzerland soon. If I don’t have my luggage it’s unlikely I’ll see it period. I won’t be staying in a major city or airport. This is beyond frustrating.
@darendefrank@British_Airways It was likely due to the centralized conveyor system breaking down. I still haven’t seen my stuff. I can still see it at the airport but hasn’t moved. Any luck on your end?
@darendefrank@British_Airways I just got a notice on the baggage claim that the courier acknowledges my bag and is scheduled to be delivered. It’s still in terminal 5. My wife had the same notice this morning and we are tracking her bag make rounds all around the city. Hers is almost here. Good luck to you.
@darendefrank@British_Airways Don’t waste your time and money. We tried that early early this morning. We were not allowed back through nor British Airways front counter would help. Cost a lot of money to taxi over just to get told no.
