@RobWong34@3_up_3_dwn The thing I struggle with in regards to the offence, is that even when we get Kirk and Barger back, they are replacing some of our more productive hitters.
It’s really been Springer/Gimenez/Vladdy that have struggled, and that you can’t really do anything with….
@rwrsmith2005@JoshuaHowsam I wonder how much of that is attributed to George and Vladdy, versus the guys who have been injured and missing (Barger and Kirk)
@iiiToronto@dudley_milk@JohnnyGiunta_ I feel like no one is noticing this- Sánchez is looking 1-2 sections over from where the ball comes from.
Angle is completely off from where he flaps his glove
@MicParabolic@jordancicchelli Okay- so just so I understand ( and can apply the same logic as your “brain”)
If a ball player looks in my general direction, I should take it as an invitation to throw a ball at them.
@MicParabolic@jordancicchelli He’s not even looking in the direction of where the ball comes from man…. It’s at least two sections over from where he flaps his glove.
And in what world have you ever seen a major leaguer engage in a game of catch with a fan during a mound visit?
@MicParabolic@jordancicchelli He’s not even looking in the direction that the ball came from…..
Also- who possibly thinks you’re allowed to throw an object on the field?
@AndrewStoeten Obviously players don’t want a salary cap, and obviously owners do.
But can we all agree that there should be a mechanism to equalize the sweetheart deal the Dodgers got on their tv revenue (an advantage no other team has)
@AndrewStoeten In retrospect, would explain a lot of the variance on his velocity from start to start last year.
Hope he bounces back. Was a terrific and durable pitcher for them, would be nice to see his legacy end on a positive note.
@RobWong34 A depressing as they are to watch, I feel they could go on a roll any day now and win 8/9 or 10/12 or something.
Pitching has been mainly great- and I can’t imagine the offence is this bad all year
@AndrewStoeten@Broloccini I don’t think you can break even with the new setup-
The Jays force STH to sell on SeatGeek- If the listing is capped at cost, and then SeatGeek takes 20 percent, you’d still be well underwater as a STH.
@JoshuaHowsam I hate going when I know there is a giveaway now.
The giveaway is included in my seats, so I don’t line up, but it’s always way more congested through concourse because people are there so bloody early.
@AndrewStoeten He’s one of the greatest jays of all time, and we have no evidence the front office even offered him a contract.
Hard to dislike, or do anything other than root for the guy given the circumstances.
@AndrewStoeten Right-
I’d HOPE most don’t even see this as a question- the team made a decision to cut ties with arguably their most marketable player (Only HOF’er), no ex teammates or coaches or anyone of significance came to his defence, and he was placed on the restricted list….
