If you are in contact with homeless camps in the area please be aware there will be severe weather tonight 3/16 into the early morning of 3/17 with hail potential and a possibility for tornadoes. Hail is VERY dangerous in a tent.
The @CityOfDallas has a Bulk Water Pick Up Program to assist residents without water due to needed building repairs, Dallas will fill water containers up to 15 gallons per visit at the listed rec centers during regular business hours.

Bee Hive Lodge 2 feeds the unhoused once a month in downtown and came to feed 150 pounds of chicken for our placement hotel location.
There are few things more "Dallas" than the fact that a man who was photographed on the Capitol steps on Jan. 6th remains on the board of a City of Dallas sanctioned Public Improvement District in an area where he owns many apartments that allow rent to be paid in installments.

Sometimes, street medicine is sending a medic team to check on our community members who have been displaced at a hotel over the last week during the #TexasFreeze.

I just received a copy of an email sent from @CityOfDallas to library employees asking that they use their paid vacation days if they were unable to work due to the storm, and that those who do not have any left must use unpaid leave.

I’m serious though. Violence is the only answer at this point. People are literally freezing to death. They go home to their warm beds and take trips to Cancun cause they know they won’t face consequences. Midterm elections will not solve anything
