In recognition of the military nature of current operations and on the advice of the British High Commission, the trustees have partially stood down our Response Team. We are in all respects ready to deploy and should tasking emerge, could deploy at very short notice. #Vanuatu
We hope all are well in these challenging times #cycloneHarold has devastated #Vanuatu. It was a powerful slow moving #cat5cyclone. Due to #Covid19 DART are unable to help at this time. Vanuatu is a country DART helped in 2015 so our thoughts are with those communities.
Our team in Grand Bahama have embarked on the final (and arguably most important) phase of their deployment: Training staff from the Bahamian National Trust in Chainsaw Handling, Maintenance, PPE, Felling Techniques and First Aid.....

Our partners in the DART school building project - @Rorys_Well have sent us this great picture to start the week.
Their aim is to equip a tailor in the village to provide every child, regardless of family circumstances, with a school uniform.
Our team assisting with #RebuildingGrandBahamas continued their clearance work around High Rock yesterday.
Today they removed a badly damaged tree that was endangering a water tank and communications equipment at the @IMC_Worldwide field hospital. #BahamasStrong
