The funniest thing is that Musk doesn't have any trillions. These aren't gold bars in a vault like Scrooge McDuck's, this isn't cash under the bed, it's not even electronic trillions in a bank account. This is a _valuation_ of @SpaceX's capitalization by market participants, and even then based on the number of shares available for trading.

If you took away all of Musk's shares and gave them to the homeless, they'd haul them to the market tomorrow and the value of one share would be a couple of cents instead of $165. And SpaceX wouldn't be able to pay them dividends, because it's a _loss-making_ company and there's nothing to distribute there.

The same goes for Musk's role. Remove him from the equation - investor confidence will collapse, everyone will start dumping shares, and then it'll become harder for companies in such a market to attract funding.

Sanders reproaches Musk for the fact that SpaceX survived thanks to government subsidies. But let's, for the sake of a complete picture, factor in how much the American taxpayer spent on Ares V before the Obama administration canceled it.

So, politicians like Sanders create bureaucratized money-siphoning machines that spawn Ares V. Entrepreneurs like Musk create efficiency that spawns breakthroughs like Falcon 9.

We need to think not about how to seize and divide imaginary money, but about how to organize the flow of capital in such a way that it produces results and gives people the opportunity to get rich. Just like the SpaceX cafeteria workers.

The Elon Musks of the world drive growth, global GDP, and provide access to goods and services at lower cost that would otherwise not exist.

Elon’s nominal trillionaire status is due to his ownership of SpaceX, Tesla, Neuralink, the Boring Company and his other initiatives that have brought new technologies that improve our everyday lives.

Elon is not sitting on a trillion dollar pile of cash, jewelry and gold. He is using his controlling stakes in his companies to advance mankind. Elon’s companies don’t pay dividends. They reinvest all of their capital to accelerate innovation and value creation.

Elon is working 24/7 for all of us. He deserves respect and appreciation, not smears.

Bernie, your socialism would never allow a SpaceX to be built. Socialism has only proven to impoverish mankind and lead to death and destruction.

We need to create the conditions for more SpaceXs to be built, not attack the great entrepreneurs who are helping to advance our country.

To work effectively with AI agents you need a few things: the ability to make effective decisions, to understand what’s going on from a helicopter view, to move between layers of abstraction, and to tell signal from noise.

That’s why high-level folks will always be more successful at using agents.

Guys, if you’re ignoring Codex, you’re making a big mistake. The Extra High modes have no equivalent with any other AI provider. It’s saved my ass more than once, even when debugging low-level kernel-mode bugs.

Nothing wrong with fooling around with other tools, but I'm a huge proponent of sticking with a single tool through thick and thin and trying to know it well.

You just can't build mastery if you are switching tools every week.

Anyway, Claude Code is the one for me.
