Look, you're going to be some of us GOING OFF about The Eternal Flame that was removed during that renovation and never returned. Even had @aggiejournalist do a deep sigh when I started on this one too many times. #bringbacktheflame
There have been many theories about why Texas A&M continues to underachieve, but not enough people acknowledge the the obvious:
For years the Reveille graves had a direct line of sight to the football field through the tunnel of Kyle Field’s north end zone horseshoe but when they opened “The Zone” expansion in 1999 they blocked that line of sight and despite adding a scoreboard in front of the graves we clearly did not do enough to appease our deceased mascot overlords and as a result the Aggies have not won a conference title since and will continue to suffer the wrath of our irked ghost Reveilles until this affront is rectified.
@aggiejournalist Not for me. Too reactive. Sometimes too personal. Bad for my mind so I don't interact with it. That's not to take anything away from the work TexAgs does. They are the envy of other university adjacent sites. Instead I interact live with friends for pleasure or pain of an event.
Texas A&M has a passionate fanbase who supports the team even when they’re bad probably better than any other school in the country.
The HC intentionally antagonizing that fanbase seems like an odd choice.
Few things.
1) He’s not wrong in that every fanbase as a toxic faction that’s never happy
2) Doubt he meant this as a shot at @billyliucci nor majority of @TexAgs members
3) ZERO reason to bring this up, especially after such poor game
I’ll bet he apologizes & clarifies soon
Question: Why in the heck do they fly when it’s literally 2 1/2 hours from Austin to Dallas?
By the time they drive over to the airport, get on the plane & fly then land followed by driving from airport to hotel its almost the same time it would be as driving.
