it turns out this was a pretty good bet.

the next stage of this competition is driven by research. as such, i've promoted my co-founder and chief scientist @patrickrim to ceo!

in the last 60 days, patrick:

- pushed sota on 3d pose (from scratch)
- built an outlier eng & research team in lightspeed
- assembled the largest academic consortium in physical ai
- won the largest contract in build's history

if things unfold as i predict, patrick will go down as an N-of-1 founder of our generation.

before starting a company i fully did not appreciate how rare it is for people to follow through on what they say they’re going to do

(employees, investors, advisors, contractors, service providers, biz partners…)

when you find someone good, hang on for dear life

@jjen_abel Largely true. But, more than ever, it's critical to also sell the vision. Enterprise Customers need to know the effort/risk will be worth it, beyond just having another tool. So start small and focused, but make it clear there's a lot of potential value in play (e.g. promotion)
