Requiring all California elections to be vote by mail in November may seem unnecessary now, and I hope it stays so. But - we should plan for the worst and hope for the best. The health of voters, my fellow poll workers, the janitors who clean the rooms - that's the priority.
Pence's constant interruptions & condescending attitude reminded me of how Enron's lobbyists treated women leaders during the 2000 CA energy crisis. I don't remember what Pence said - it's hard to listen when you are seeing red! Vote @KamalaHarris

@RepSpeier @glendablue Pence's constant interruptions & condescending attitude reminded me of how Enron's lobbyists treated women leaders during the 2000 CA energy crisis. If Pence was saying anything substantive, many women missed it. It's hard to listen when you are seeing red!

@IdeaGov And remind people that voting isn't like marriage. No need to wait for "the one." You're getting a ride. If you can't ride to your front door, don't stay at home drinking Colt 45 - take the lift that gets you closest to your destination!
@Schriock1@KamalaHarris Voting isn't like marriage. You don't have to wait for "the one" who is absolutely perfect. You're getting a ride, as close to your destination as possible. Fortunately, our ride is perfect - it goes directly to #BidenHarris2020

@NormOrnstein As a moderator, I had a simple tactic. I would go stand directly in front of the time hog without saying a word. Usually the audience would cheer! Unfortunately this doesn't work with social distancing. Vote @KamalaHarris
@DanRather Before social distancing, I (as moderator) would stand directly in front of the offender without saying a word. Usually the audience starts cheering - most people hate microphone hoggers! Vote @KamalaHarris
