Students participating in #TOKW through the Department of Education & Early Childhood Development had the opportunity to visit @NSLeg Province House to see government in action!

I had a chance to visit a Transportation Trades 11 class at Central Kings Rural High School today. Skilled Trades classes like this keep students fully engaged learning about skilled trades opportunities in Nova Scotia. @AVRCE_NS

Department staff are providing direct support to students & teachers today in experiential learning. One activity uses fractions to create the 1/16th scale keychain. This involves outcomes in both Math & Skilled Trades, & involves reading a tape measure. @nseducation
