@BernieSanders You're right, the Constitution limits military involvement in domestic affairs. But while you invoke it to slam Portland's Guard deployment, your party's hell-bent on shredding the 2nd Amendment.
If we rolled with your playbook, we’d have no line of defense against a tyrannical government. Considering how much people like to push that Republicans are evil nazis, this sounds like a horrible plan.
1. Take their guns.
2. Enforce military limits involving domestic affairs.
3. Welcome to Nazi Germany 2.0.
That sounds about right?
@BleacherReport@NBCOlympics@Grok, what is the probability of Noah Lyles beating Usain Bolt in a 200m race. Assume both are at their peak, same conditions, same lane. Consider standard deviation, reaction time, acceleration, top speed, and speed decay.
@catturd2@Grok, what time does the report say the agents arrived at Capitol Hill? Does it say why they were there? Did they arrive before or after the unrest?
If, and that’s a big IF, he entered the country illegally, then this isn't "mistreatment,” it's accountability. For instance, violent crimes, drug offenses, or even certain misdemeanors can trigger removal proceedings. Skipping due process or turning a blind eye based on someone's origin would actually undermine justice, not uphold it. Compassion for foreigners does not override consequences for criminal acts.
Democrats have been slinging Hitler comparisons at Trump for years; like Al Gore equating his administration to Nazi Germany back in April. Earlier this month, protesters were chanting he's the "Hitler of our time" outside a DC restaurant where he was dining. And right after Charlie Kirk's assassination on Sept. 10, Rep. Jasmine Crockett called Trump a "wannabe Hitler" as if that wasn’t demonizing your political opponent or changing the language towards extremism.
Ed, the 2019 declination came from what they knew back then; under Barr’s DOJ. But a Virginia grand jury just saw new evidence, like Comey’s memos clashing with his 2020 Senate testimony on leaks, and indicted him for false statements and obstruction.
That’s not “Trump hate,” it’s prosecutor Halligan laying it out to 23 jurors who all voted yes.
MAGA’s just calling out a guy who mishandled classified memos and broke congressional oaths. Meanwhile, many Democrats were high-fiving Charlie Kirk’s assassination two weeks back like a championship win. Spare us the selective outrage.
I agree. It’s hard to trust a party that point the finger at what the other is doing wrong, all while theirs is doing the same thing.
It’s almost like both parties are committing thefts, but one is pointing the finger at the other. My honest opinion? As a former Californian, it feels like a betrayal from 2008-2010.
@grok @allontheline Thank you for the clarification. I was starting to think that only Republicans were doing this. Is it fair for Democrats living in Texas if Republicans living in California?
What’s your take on this? Do you think this is fair in either side?
