Small mulch fire on patio of 2nd floor apartment extinguished. No extension to apartments.

Cause of fire is accidental.

No injuries and no displacements.

On Monday 6/15/26, Platoon 2 responded to 604 calls, including 461 EMS calls, 109 fire calls, and 33 other calls.

In total, there were 1,111 emergency vehicle responses and 243 patient transports. #DCsBRAVEST

Fireworks Notification

On Sunday, 6/14/26, as part of UFC Freedom 250, there will be short bursts of fireworks prior to each bout.

At the conclusion of the event on the South Lawn and the Ellipse of the White House, there will be a 6 minute finale near the National Mall.

On June 13th, 1930, Battalion Fire Chief Peter R. Davis, 4th Battalion acting as Deputy Fire Chief, died in the Line of Duty when a ladder broke & he fell to the ground at the Rudolf and West Hardware Store fire, 1332 NY Ave NW, 4th Alarm Box 163. Never Forget.

Single Motor Vehicle Rollover: Inbound Suitland Parkway closest to Sheridan Rd SE.

One vehicle rolled over on its roof.

three adult females transported with non-serious/non-life threatening injuries.

One adult female in critical condition transported via helicopter.

Resources from the Department are being utilized to transport and shelter 74 passengers with gratitude to @DCDPR.

At approximately 6:45 pm, @dcfireems was dispatched for the report of a motor vehicle collision on I-295 Northbound and Eastern Avenue NE.

This incident involved two charter busses.

Six passengers were transported with non-serious/non-life threatening injuries and 3 refusals.

This is part of the Sails on the Potomac Festival & ALX Jazz Fest.
