Following members votes on NHS pay, the CSP will now hold an industrial action ballot - for all members who work in the NHS in England and Wales.

The NHS pay award is ‘simply not enough’.

We are recommending a vote for strike action.

The government has announced a flat rate pay increase of £1400 for NHS staff in England, backdated to 1st April.

We will now consult members on how they feel about this offer, and we cannot rule out consideration of industrial action as part of that.
