@edstetzer TY so much for this! So many good points, including the truth of ministry being always 2-way, and not something that someone “does” for another. As a disabled disciple of Jesus, I pray and work for the day that ableism isn’t so ubiquitous in our faith communities. TY, again!
From this hallowed ground where ppl spilled their blood for the right to vote 55 yrs ago, we're issuing a call for 55k ppl in each state voting on Super Tuesday to find 5 others who will vote for a moral agenda.
RT if you're in.
Here's our agenda... #PoorPeoplesCampaign
Pls do not look away, listen and watch— this is heartbreaking, at best. That this is happening in our country is beyond the pale. Lord, have mercy. Break all of our hearts into action.

Honduran mother reuniting w/ her 1-y/o daughter at SFO after a month-long separation at the U.S.-Mexico border.
Is this what makes you feel safe? Separating a young mother from her 1 year old daughter?
Look at her daughter's reaction seeing her mother after A MONTH
Gutting 💔

Calling out the unfairness of his sentencing, this guy, this guy, needs special provisions bc he’s a 70 yo man.
Thought I couldn’t be more gobsmacked than I’ve been with LG. Congrats, Sen toady, you’ve outdone yourself

This is the 150th year since the signing of the 15th amendment. It's also the 55th year since the signing of the Voting Rights Act. If extremists try to suppress our right to vote, they must fear our power & if they fear our power, let's all come together & actualize that fear!

I’m crazy blessed to essentially live my ministry in a liminal space. Here’s my ask- can we be okay showing real feelings without feeling attacked? Both ways? I want to be able to dialogue and we must- this is my prayer for our healing- we have much to do-
Peace be with you

And I was! Gratefully, though it was a tweet from 2018, so I didn’t feel too badly about not finding it.
I’m a Christian, a Wheaton grad and in seminary. I’m also quite ill, relying on IVs for my nutrition- and been septic 7x. I’m a joy-filled person if you were to meet me

Oh dear - pls take a breath. I was not attacking anyone, ok? I was expressing frustration and sadness for what I have observed so often as silence from the Evangelical community in the face of egregious behavior and words from this administration. I asked to be proved wrong
@KajleRadbourne@edstetzer TY! As I said, I’d be delighted to learn differently. the vitriol at the prayer breakfast yesterday was a breaking point for my heart. (again) Which brings me to my knees in sadness, and in prayer before the Lord. May we walk together in love- Blessings on your continued journey-
@edstetzer As the body of Christ today- pls register my frustration as only that, not an attack. Compassion is required as the church will deal with the fallout of this mess for decades to come- peace
@edstetzer Where was your outrage and public calling out of Trump mocking disabled people, saying that African and Central American countries are shithole countries? Pls, at least occasionally speak truth to this president
@edstetzer I would listen to you, if you would post as much on the black and brown children who are dying every day bc of this administration’s hateful policies towards refugees and asylum seekers. Where is your outrage for a pres who speaks venom against those he feels have betrayed him?
Trump just walked into the National Prayer Breakfast & didn’t bow in submission to God, but held up papers saying acquital & flaunted his supposed glory & victory. What’s worse, preachers & many other attendees applauded him.
In a smooth 3 seconds she dispensed with his 70 minute manifesto of mistruths. Classic Italian Grandma move - saying everything without saying a word. #NancytheRipper#NancyPelosiROCKS#DontMessWithMama https://t.co/kTc1CEUIuh
After all the lies, all the children caged, all the healthcare taken didn’t phase Pence, he is disturbed that Pelosi tore up the speech? It didn’t dishonor the moment. Lies be torn up.
