On this National Lineworker Appreciation Day, I am reminded of all the @DukeEnergy linemen I have the honor of working with every day. They really are heroes in hard hats. #ThankALineman
We’re all proud of the these guys for the hard work they’re putting in to help our neighbors in Lee County. I have the honor of seeing them work for our @DukeEnergy customers in North FL every day and know Lee County is getting our best.
These are our @DukeEnergy North Florida crews using specialized equipment to get through tough terrain on #PineIsland. We stand by our commitment to @LCECSWFL and the Lee County community - we won’t stop until the lights are back on!
The cavalry waiting to respond to Hurricane #Ian. This is just one many staging sites across our Florida service area housing crews ready to get to work - as quickly and safely as possible. We will not stop until every customer is back on.
The Jefferson Co Watermelon Festival is a June tradition. And now I can say finishing last in the annual bed race is becoming mine. But it’s still a great time!
Energy storage is an essential part of the @DukeEnergy clean energy strategy and North FL has 3 of our newest battery storage sites (Jennings, Trenton, and Cape San Blas).

@lmower3 For those interested in helping Jefferson Co, I’d encourage you to consider becoming involved with the Jefferson Co Ed Foundation - a local nonprofit focused on supporting the county’s public school system by raising funds for teachers and students. https://t.co/lfbzF0pAEP
For National Lineworker Appreciation Day, I want to thank all the great @DukeEnergy linemen I have the honor of working with. They keep the lights on, give back to their communities, and even let me talk them into attending chamber banquets once in a while. #thankalineman
Our @DukeEnergy team in Trenton is already in the Christmas spirit. They purchased a number of bikes, put them together, and delivered them to schools across Dixie, Gilchrist, and Levy counties. Sometimes Santa Claus drives a bucket truck.

Having seen the @DukeEnergy response to Hurricane Michael in North FL when we needed the support of thousands of utility workers from multiple states, it doesn’t make sense to split apart @DukeEnergy.
We are blessed to have great @DukeEnergy lineworkers in North FL. As we recognize National Lineworker Appreciation Day, I’m exceptionally proud and honored to work with these folks every day. To these and all lineworkers across the country, THANK YOU! #ThankALineworker
It was a gorgeous day in Franklin County! These marsh plants were donated by @DukeEnergy for @FLDEPNews Cat Point Living Shoreline project. The Conservation Corps of the Forgotten and Emerald Coasts got these plants in the ground faster than I can say spartina alterniflora!
Had a great time celebrating @DukeEnergy EV charging stations in Apalachicola with @ApalachicolaFL and City of Apalachicola Mayor Kevin Begos. We are bringing EV chargers to North FL!
New electric vehicle charging stations just installed in downtown Perry. If you’re driving your EV along US 19 stop for a charge at one of these @DukeEnergy chargers and enjoy exploring the great shops and restaurants in Perry!
Turn your front porch light on this Saturday night to celebrate the linemen who keep all our lights on. We are always proud of our @DukeEnergy linemen! #thankalineman
While we normally celebrate National Lineworker Appreciation Day on April 18th, I got the pleasure of thanking (from a safe distance) some of our @DukeEnergy linemen a little early as they worked to restore power in my neighborhood. #ThankALineman
The weather was perfect Saturday for the 2020 Clean Up Madison day. Volunteers from across the county organized trash pickup activities all across Madison. @DukeEnergy employees, family, and friends did our part cleaning up trash along Highway 90.
