I replied it’s not ok to be charged when the driver doesn’t stop. I asked for a cc refund bc this made me not want to use #Uber again. No response. So I ask here: @Uber_Support and @Uber: what are you doing to stop #profiling and support riders when drivers do the wrong thing?

This is how I looked when I arranged for an #Uber to take me on a 15 min ride between suburban towns. The assigned car approached. I waved when it didn’t slow down. I saw the driver’s mask head on as he drove by so I know he saw me. (1/3)

Moments later, the app pinged that the ride had been canceled. I reported that unprofessional behavior. The reply let me know that got a cancelation fee but that I would be issued a credit in #UberCash, and that the incident was investigated and resolved. (2/3)

@DevinaYo @nkjemisin I wish I could express my feelings with words. I picked up the book like 🤔 and was worried it be like 🥱or😕 but instead I was all 😯😲😮😢🙂😀😭😲🤯…😲. Grateful to have found this book and discovered a whole dang spot in my head that I never knew was there… at 50!!!
