Six quarters ago, we set out a vision for IRFC’s growth. Today, the numbers speak for themselves. We walked the talk!

Under IRFC 2.0, our continued railway-centric diversification is delivering results, with our net worth crossing a record and annualised Net Interest Margin at 1.50% for the quarter. The Board’s declaration of a record-high interim dividend of INR 1.15 per share, the highest ever payable in a single tranche, further reflects our strong performance.

As we often say, 'These numbers are not manufactured; they come from the businesses we are doing. Numbers speak volumes and make my job easier as CEO.'

Some of India’s biggest transformations happen quietly, kilometre after kilometre, until we pause to appreciate the scale of what we have achieved.

The electrification of Indian Railways is one such remarkable journey. From just 388 route kilometres at Independence to nearly the entire broad-gauge network electrified today, this transformation reflects decades of engineering, planning and nation-building.

Kudos to Union Minister @PiyushGoyal for calling out the West at the Berlin Global Dialogue over its historical carbon emissions and failure to honour climate finance commitments.

At COP21 in Paris, PM @narendramodi championed climate justice, equity and the principle that developed nations must shoulder greater responsibility while enabling developing countries to grow sustainably.

Yet, the Global South continues to face the consequences of a climate crisis it did not create alone, while promised financial and technological support remains inadequate.

A new case study of Gujarat's reforms (2001-2026) argues that political prioritisation, sustained financing, cross-government partnerships and community ownership mattered as much as hardware. Tirupathur has crossed the 95-95-95 HIV targets and achieved Surakshit Status, with District Collector V. Nallasivan, IAS, leading a district-wide push that took HIV awareness and care beyond health facilities.

From 33 high-risk villages to schools, colleges and vulnerable children, the district built its response around early diagnosis, treatment and sustained follow-up.

What changed? Decades of sustained action to control what entered the river.

जिलाधिकारी के निर्देशों के क्रम में रामघाट क्षेत्र में राजस्व विभाग, नगर पालिका परिषद चित्रकूट एवं विशेष क्षेत्र विकास प्राधिकरण की संयुक्त टीम द्वारा सर्वे रोवर (Rover) तकनीक से सरयू धारा का तकनीकी सर्वेक्षण किया जा रहा है।

सर्वेक्षण के दौरान धारा की वर्तमान स्थिति, सीमा एवं स्थलाकृति से संबंधित आवश्यक आंकड़े आधुनिक तकनीक के माध्यम से संकलित किए जा रहे हैं, जिससे नदी क्षेत्र की सीमा का सटीक एवं वैज्ञानिक आधार पर निर्धारण सुनिश्चित किया जा सके।

नदी के सीमांकन एवं जलस्रोतों के संरक्षण से प्राकृतिक जल प्रवाह को पुनर्स्थापित करने में सहायता मिलेगी तथा मंदाकिनी नदी में जलस्तर बनाए रखने में भी सकारात्मक प्रभाव पड़ेगा।

Indian hockey deserves better. 🏑🇮🇳

The World Cup saw the jersey controversy. Now, just ahead of the Asian Games, another controversy has emerged.

At a time when our players are training relentlessly and need complete focus and confidence, internal matters of Hockey India are being taken to the media. More troubling is the alleged bypassing of the Executive Committee and established governance norms.

With Hockey India elections around the corner, such unilateral actions and media pressure raise serious questions about the intent and timing. Governance is meant to strengthen institutions, not create turbulence around major tournaments.

The Executive Committee exists for a reason. Decisions affecting Indian hockey must follow due process, collective responsibility and the organisation’s bylaws.

Let our players focus on the game. Keep the politics out.
