@BBGreatMoments Too many to recall all of them. Was there when they clinched the NL east titles in ‘91 and ‘92; and was there for Gm5 of ‘92 NLCS when Bob Walk pitched a gem to keep the series going.
@buchignani Also, did some research last yr about the rivalry & came across a tense exchange between Mac & Joe following final game in 90 that CBS cameras caught. Didn’t know about it. Mac did not care for Joe. Was told that personally by Mac. Joe interviewed by CBS after & did a brush off
@buchignani Been saying this for years. Be nice to keep a cycle going with old Eastern rivals. “I get” the question/though. But the “previous” coach didn’t want to play P4 non con games because of the B1G schedule. “Nobody asked me” but he didn’t like those games. “But I get the question.”
@B1OBEY0ND Wow! I’m speechless. I’m hoping the time change and threat of poor weather affected the crowd and next year will be better. But the lack of an actual game in marketing materials doesn’t help as well.
@B1OBEY0ND Because it’s a spring tradition unlike any other. Not the Masters. Ranking Texas and ND in the top 5 because … BOTH PROGRAMS ARE BACK!!! (Yells the talking heads). PSU is somewhere in the 18-22 range
@Palexander44@B1OBEY0ND Remember watching both Jim Gregory and yourself call the opener at Minnesota on WTAJ TV in Altoona. Who knew that game was just the tip of the iceberg that season?
@DannyDee23@Tomohiostate23@BillisKing Can’t speak much to Mercyhurat, but in AIC’s case that school is close to closing. They are trying to reduce costs any way possible. They did what they felt was best while still keeping the program and not eliminating it entirely.
@TimBrando Miss hearing you on the call this week Timmy B, but looking forward to hearing you call games once again when September rolls around. You’re not allowed to retire any time soon. 😄 You’re one of the voices of my youth growing up and watching great college games
