#Commanders Brandon Coleman played 242 snaps at left tackle last year, allowing 0 sacks, 0 QB hits, and 5 pressures (2.1% pressure rate)

The pressure rate allowed was even better than Laremy Tunsil's elite 3.1%, with the obvious caveat that the gameplan changed when he filled in at LT

More importantly, Coleman showed tremendous growth since his rookie season, when he allowed 10 sacks (third-most), six QB hits, and a 6.9% pressure rate

Coleman has all of the measureables of a high-profile LT and was drafted on Day 2 for a reason. Is he Laremy Tunsil? Of course not. But does he have a chance to be a good player? Absolutely

There’s a character in the movie Friday named Deebo. 

He’s the neighborhood bully who takes what he wants because no one is willing to stop him.

He’s big, aggressive, and reckless.
So people tolerate him.

I’ve encountered this type many times. Different environments, same pattern.

Low verbal skill. Limited range of abilities. High aggression. Fragile ego.

When you outperform them—on the court, in conversation, in business, or with women—you trigger something. They feel the gap.

And instead of closing it, they compensate.

They lean into the one thing they believe they can win with: aggression.

That aggression can be physical, verbal, or positional. It’s not always fists.

Sometimes it’s intimidation. Sometimes it’s pressure. Sometimes it’s a subtle attempt to disrupt you or pull you down.
Different forms, same instinct.

These types exist everywhere.

They are not confined to neighborhoods or gyms. They exist in offices, boardrooms, and professional environments.
There are Deebos in suits.
There are Deebos with titles.
There are Deebos with credentials.

The setting changes.
The behavior does not.

Here is the key point.

You cannot avoid them.

If you are visible, competent, and willing to perform at a high level, you will trigger insecurity in someone who lacks those same qualities.

That is part of the territory.

So the question is not whether you will encounter a Deebo.

The question is whether you are prepared to deal with one.

In Friday, nobody challenged Deebo until Craig finally did. And when he did, the entire environment shifted.
People respected it.

Not because they love conflict.

But because they respect boundaries being enforced.

You do not need to become reckless or aggressive yourself.

But you do need to be capable.

Capable of standing your ground. Capable of responding when necessary. Capable of making it clear that intimidation will not work here.

Because if you are not, the Deebo will continue.

And not just with you.
With everyone around you.

The presence you carry must include a line that does not get crossed.

And the willingness to enforce it when it is.

@TheGhostOfGeert Sure it’s not incorrect. Telling it in this manner is not with context and that’s calculated. On paper this sounds good. Suggs is the odd man out for several reasons. His post season shortcomings only reaffirmed that to me.
