🚨🇷🇺Putin: Russia is ready to end the Ukraine conflict

🟠Russia is prepared to reach a peace agreement and bring the Ukraine conflict to an end through negotiations, President Vladimir Putin said during a meeting with international news agencies in St. Petersburg.

🟠He stressed that any final settlement must be signed by officials with the legal authority to represent Ukraine. He noted that Volodymyr Zelensky's presidential term expired two years ago and argued that questions surrounding his legitimacy remain unresolved.

🟠The Russian leader also pointed out that calls for elections in Ukraine, widely discussed earlier this year, have largely disappeared from public debate.

🟠However, legitimate representatives capable of signing a peace agreement exist within Ukraine's political system, including the Verkhovna Rada, Putin noted.

🗣"If there is a desire for peace, we will find those who can sign the relevant documents," Putin said.

The article below claims that

It also claims that -

"Any potential discussions around bail are currently hindered by the stance of the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS), which has indicated it will oppose any such applications, grounded in the previously assessed evidence that led to her convictions."

These are serious allegations. Should they be either confirmed or denied?

Might there not, otherwise, be a risk, first, that the CCRC risks being seen as failing to see the forest for the trees?

And second, that the CPS might be seen to be knowingly denying the known evidence of potential flaws in the original evidence? (Eg. as in the Court of Appeal's finding of 'inconsistencies' in the evidence that convicted Lucy Letby in the Baby K case).
