Another view of the Perry, FL damage that took out every pole on this road. Pole replacements are lengthy and tedious work for the @DukeEnergy#OH#KY crews working on restoration in the Taylor County community. Thx for your patience as we work on repairs from #HurricaneIdalia
Our @DukeEnergy#OH#KY crews remain in Madison, FL today working on #HurricaneIdalia restoration. Still replacing poles but fortunately the bucket trucks can access them so no manual climbing. Thanks for your patience as we continue restoring power.
A few other hazards our @DukeEnergy crews are encountering during #HurricaneIdalia restoration in #FL are snakes, fire ant mounds, and getting ready to dodge some storms.

At @tropicanafield in @StPeteFL awaiting the arrival of hundreds of lineworkers, tree pros and other storm experts who will stage equipment here ahead of @DukeEnergy’s storm response.
Check out this convoy of @DukeEnergy crews from Indiana, Ohio and Kentucky. They'll be in Florida ahead of @HurricaneIan and ready to respond when it's safe.
Six years ago today (on her birthday, no less) Jerri Kurdila gave a kidney to her @DukeEnergy co-worker, Eric Amshoff. Happy kidney-versary, Eric! And happy birthday, Jerri! https://t.co/VJBYwMvIjF
This is a rare site in our area. @DukeEnergy lineman Alex Downton gets out the tire chains for his bucket truck in anticipation of winter storm headed our way. Cannot stress enough for folks to be prepared.
