We had a blast at Battle of Badges yesterday in our face-off with the Delta Police Department for a crowd of students from across Delta.
Thank you to everyone who made this event, in support of Pink Shirt Day, such a success. Congratulations @deltapolice on the 5-4 win!
Persons served from a variety of Kyndred programs attended the annual Pink Shirt Day "Battle of the Badges" hockey game between @deltapolice and @DFF1763 .
I didn't think we were picking sides in this battle, but here we find Eliza with Delta Fire Chief Guy McKintuck.
The 2025 #BattleoftheBadges was one for the history books! After Delta Fire’s win last year, #DeltaPolice turned the tide and secured a 5-4 victory. 🚔🚒
This event was about more than the score—it was a reminder to stand against bullying and let #kindnessgrow.
Thank you to @DFF1763, @deltasd37, @CityofDeltaBC and everyone who supported. Can’t wait for next year’s game! 🏒
As firefighters, we know the power of stepping up to help others. Did you know? When peers intervene, most bullying stops in 10 seconds. 💪
Join the Delta Firefighters in wearing pink, standing up to bullying, and spreading kindness like we spread hope—every day.

As we wrap up Burn Awareness Week 2025, let's remember that preventing burns in our homes is a year-round commitment.
Keep these tips in mind to prevent burns in the kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom.

Delta Fire is excited to be spending this weekend at the 3rd Annual Delta Firefighters Basketball Tournament.
Senior boys and girls teams are competing throughout the weekend, with the final game showcasing Delta’s top two girls teams at Seaquam Secondary on Sunday evening.
🎉🔥 the Delta Firefighters Charitable Society is proud to have donated $5,000 to the @BCBurnFund! A huge thank you to all the other locals, companies, and individuals who contributed to this cause. Together, we’re making a difference for burn survivors and their families! 💙
🎉 Let’s come together to honour Battalion Chief Drake Braslins (#141) as he sets out on a new chapter after an incredible 32 years with @CityofDeltaFire! 🔥👏
Last night, Fire Chief Guy McKintuck was presented with the Governor General of Canada’s Fire Services Exemplary Service Medal—a recognition of his remarkable 30-year career and commitment to the safety of Deltans and firefighters alike.
Congratulations, Chief McKintuck!
💔 The Delta Firefighters are saddened by the passing of former Premier John Horgan. His unwavering commitment to British Columbia and public service has left an enduring legacy.
Our thoughts are with his family, friends, and colleagues during this difficult time.
Today, Canada’s Fallen will be honoured and remembered. Please join us in observing a moment of silence at 11:00 am to mark the sacrifice of the many who have fallen in the service of their country, and to acknowledge the courage of the those who still serve.
