1/ Needless to say, the recent surge in New York Times articles pairing the word "genocide" with "Israel" is driven by the war in Gaza.
But it would be wrong to single out the Times.
The same pattern shows up across every other outlet I looked at.

I can't believe I have to say this: Holocaust Memorial Day is about the Holocaust.
Stop universalizing the Holocaust. Stop minimizing the horrors of the Holocaust. Stop weaponizing the Holocaust for your political agenda. Stop speaking over Jews.
It's that simple.
Reminder: Soon you’ll hear from bad faith actors how the Israeli hostages are just prisoners of war, held legally by the terror group Hamas.
Show them this video of the youngest held hostage, Kfir Bibas, and his family.
He’s turning 2 in captivity this week.
10/7 DENIERS VS 10/7 SURVIVORS (watch till the end 🫢)
For the 1-year anniversary of 10/7 we conducted our BOLDEST social experiment yet. The results were mixed, but clearly show that the majority of people who were in denial about 10/7, or worse, willing to justify the horrors of the second biggest slaughter of Jews since the Holocaust, were moved by what they saw from these brave survivors.
Change doesn’t happen overnight. It happens over TIME. So we must be patient and remember that most of our enemies hate us because they have been LIED to. Brainwashed, even. Many algorithms have been weaponized by The Axil of Evil (China’s TikTok more than any), and even the others are naturally designed to work against such a tiny people and nation. So we must be patient and push against the Hamas propaganda with content so powerful — the truth is UNDENIABLE.
This is a call to not only to Jews and israelis, but to anyone who wants to save the free world. Support for one terrorist attack, is support for all terrorism. Our fight, is YOUR fight.
Today, as we mourn the many we lost one year ago today, the 101 STILL hostage in Gaza, and any innocents on the other side who too are victims of Jihadism, it’s important to remember that from darkness, comes light. So let’s light up the world with phone screens that have content like this which speaks truth and moves hearts and minds. Every share, makes you part of the neo-denazification we much now conduct on a global scale throw viral videos like this.
10/7 was 1 year ago. Never again, is NOW.

After today’s open sewer running through London, this post needs wheeling out again.
The Israel-Hamas war has the strangest framing of any war, ever, due to the attendant Hamas/Iran/Qatar disinformation campaign. Absolutely astonishing that what is a fairly “routine” war has garnered such unwarranted hysteria.
Take the “40,000 deaths” that BBC Verify used to destroy the final scraps of their credibility. Exceptionally rarely is there any mention, anywhere in the media, that the total included 10,000 unconfirmed deaths gathered from “media reports” (which Hamas admitted, before they tried to deny it. Fortunately, we have the screenshots) or as many as 20,000 Hamas fighters. Absolutely bizarre that international media cites Hamas without question (in spite of the very well documented flaws and errors) but never mentions IDF figures.
Or that those deaths are spread out over 10 months with the majority coming in the first months of the war. Even averaging it out, 4,000 a month is still relatively low in the broad history of warfare. It’s tiny when you consider 19,000+ British soldiers died on the first day of the Somme.
William Dalrymple tweeted that Israel has dropped the equivalent of 5 Hiroshima bombs on Gaza. 78,000 Japanese died in an instant at Hiroshima. 5 Hiroshimas would be around 400,000 Gazan dead, not 40,000. Is the Israeli Air Force made up of just really bad shots?
Or is what is actually happening that bombs being dropped, not on Gazans, but Hamas tunnels & bunkers so deep underground heavy bombs are the only way of reaching them? Or on rocket launch sites? Or on gatherings of Hamas fighters? The IAF isn’t missing Gazans during these drops… civilians simply are not dying. The areas are evacuated first (which people then also complain about).
We see endless footage of levelled neighbourhoods. It’s shocking. But there are amazingly few corpses. That’s why Hamas keep recycling images from other conflicts, like Syria. Why? Because everyone has been evacuated. Why are the neighbourhoods levelled? Because they are riddled with Hamas tunnels which the IDF can’t get at except through the surface buildings. We’ve seen footage of whole stretches of tunnels being detonated - there’s plenty of evidence of their existence. Everyone has been evacuated beforehand.
We’ve seen the image of the tunnel on the Rafah border large enough to drive a truck through. In the top of the picture you can see the tip of an Egyptian watchtower. There’s no way the Egyptians didn’t know.
Yet none of this is being reported anywhere outside of Israeli media or a few lone voices on social media. Objectively it’s insane but such is the power of disinformation coupled with appalling journalistic standards worldwide…
…and all those useful idiots in London today have bought it hook, line and sinker.
Hamas miscalculated. Hezbollah miscalculated. The Islamic Regime in Iran miscalculated. Those miscalculations come with severe consequences.
Any nation’s military is supposed to be used to defend their nation and its people, deter war, and if deterrence fails - win in war.
When did Israel attack Iran to “deserve” this attack?
Where are the calls for “ceasefire” from all those who have been on the streets of western cities in the last year almost?
Where are those “peace” activists now?
Or do they not protest when Israel and Jews are attacked?
Israel did not attack Hamas, Hamas attacked Israel.
Israel did not attack Hezbollah, Hezbollah attacked Israel.
Israel did not attack the Houthis, the houthis attacked Israel.
If a journalist does not clearly point out Israel is defending itself- then they are lying to you.
The war with Hezbollah refutes all the claims of "pro-Palestinian" critics of Israel in the Gaza war. "If only the Palestinians had a state..." Wait, Lebanon has one! "If only Israel's attacks were perfectly targeted in a way never accomplished in warfare." Wait, Israel just did that!
Did you think a “right to self-defense” means bravely shielding ourselves as our children cower in safe rooms? Or limiting ourselves to “proportionate” responses in the face of unprovoked attacks on our civilians?
Israel has every right to go on the offensive when attacked incessantly for 11 months, and to use its own form of targeted, asymmetric warfare to knock its enemies off balance.
The outpouring of grief for injured terrorist operatives and the criticism of Israel is a spectacle to behold.
Electronic devices used by a terrorist organization exploding at the same time is the exact opposite of an indiscriminate attack. It is, in fact, very discriminate.
If even Israel’s pager attack— one of the most precise counter-terror operations in warfare history, targeting ONLY Hezbollah operatives hiding in civilian areas— gets this sort of outrage, I’m afraid it has always been about stripping Jews of the right for self defense.
“Pager incident” counter-narrative emerging. Allegations of:
1) Innocents injured/killed.
2) Mechanism of killing illegal/disproportionate.
Proof, if more were needed, that the narrative against Israel is designed simply to stop them fighting:
- Take huge conventional precautionary measures to avoid civilian death = allegations of war crimes.
- Use targeted or alternative methods to strike targets = allegations of war crimes.
Whatever Israel does, they’re condemned by certain people. Lays bare the opponents’ agenda.
It’s hard to think of a more sophisticated and targeted attack on a terror group than the pagers. But Israel will still be condemned. So why can’t the critics just be honest. They don’t believe in her right to self-defence, and never will.
What on earth is going on at @Wikipedia?
The current state of the entry for ‘Zionism’ is beyond appalling.
Zionism is the belief that Jews have the right to self-determination in their ancestral homeland. Eight in ten British Jews consider themselves to be a Zionist. Only six percent do not.
According to the International Definition of Antisemitism, “Denying the Jewish people their right to self-determination (e.g. by claiming that the existence of a State of Israel is a racist endeavour)” is an example of antisemitism.
One of the ‘five pillars’ of Wikipedia — its guiding principles — states that “Wikipedia is written from a neutral point of view.”
There is nothing “neutral” about misrepresenting for what many Jews is a core aspect of their identity.
@Wikipedia, sort yourselves out. This is shameful.
I’ve been speaking to Israelis for 35 years. For some that makes me a contradictory political figure. But I’m not – I’m just a pragmatist who realizes it’s in our own best interests to hear them out. And I can tell you, Israelis have real, well-founded concerns about security. Other than for the far right, this is not just a pretext or a delay tactic.
When you start hearing the concerns of the other side, you understand how to approach a solution. More security for more freedom. It’s not a complicated arrangement. All it takes is political will.
The objective here is not defeating Israelis – it’s defeating the fear inside Israelis. This is not doing Israelis a favor, it’s what we need to do for ourselves.
