I really wish Tarkir and Avatar were rotating next year in Standard, especially the latter.

Its density of format defining block decks (+cub) is just too much, and I feel like we're not really going to notice the rotation all that much as a result.

As much as I enjoy nerding out about math, I hope WotC cools it with cards that scale superlinearly. Harmonizer and Hydra are exponential. Cub, Ouroboroid, and Hoof are higher order polynomials. These aren't snowballs rolling down a hill; they're snowballs shot out of a cannon.

@josephperson I hate posts like this - they only needed 19 yards to win a fairly called ball game. Most games have questionable calls on both sides, but today was absolutely egregious and needs a magnifying glass on it. Even the pool report language is wierd AF.

Moderately insane chain of events.

Bryce Young throws obvious backward pass to Dowdle, who picks it up with room to run but it’s whistled dead immediately by an official who ruled it a forward pass. Referee Brad Allen then announces it’s a backward pass “that went out of bounds” and loss of 6. Panthers end up missing a 54-yard field goal.

Atrocious officiating.
