Derick Friedman dominated the Trojans on the hill and at the plate in romping to a 9-0 victory. He went 6 2/3 innings and struck out 13 while going 3-4 with two RBIs. Davin Friedman was 2-3 and drove in three. KJ Williams had two hits and scored twice.
The Ramblers overcame a 3-0 deficit to score the final eight runs, winning 8-3 at Harbor Creek. KJ Williams was 2-4 with a homerun and 3 RBIs. Derick Friedman yielding just one earned run and struck out nine in six innings.
Derick Friedman went 2-4 with 2 RBIs and pitched six innings of one run ball while striking out 9 in an 11-2 win vs. General McLane. Davin Friedman and Sam Ciukaj each went 2-5 with a pair or RBIs with Ciukaj leaving the yard. Joey Makela contributed two hits.
Jackson Herr homered and doubled, driving in a pair in Prep's 8-1 victory over Harbor Creek. Matt Oblich, Sam Ciukaj, Owen Fetzner, Joe Flanagan and AJ Sirianni all had two hits while Davin Friedman drove in two. Matt Boam struck out five in five innings for the win.
The Ramblers then advanced to the championship bracket, rallying for a 5-2 victory at Youngker. Sam Ciukaj was huge out of the bullpen, going four innings of shutout ball. Derick Friedman drove in a run and walked three times.
Prep bested Alhambra 17-4 in the Wolves Classic. Derick Friedman went 4-5 with 6 RBIs and a pair of homeruns. Matt Oblich also homered and was 3-4 with 4 runs driven in. Frank Thomas had a pair of hits and 3 RBIs while Joey Makela pitched three shutout innings in relief.

Derick led the Ramblers in ERA last season at 1.09. He also paced the team in appearances, innings pitched, strikeouts and wins. At the plate, he hit .333 with a pair of homeruns and 24 runs batted in.
