Today, joined by @CSDadheBoru, I hosted a courtesy call with commissioners from @EACCKenya regarding the establishment and operationalization of the County Corruption Prevention Committee (CPC). (1)

The visit emphasized collective responsibility in the fight against corruption. Our discussions focused on implementing CPC guidelines, strengthening institutional integrity, enhancing public accountability, and promoting ethical leadership within county governance. (2)

Today I hosted a delegation from @NemaKenya & @FAOKenya to discuss the successful development of the Gambela Wetland Management Plan. Funded by the @EUinKenya & @FAOKenya, this landmark initiative is a strategic partnership between the @NemaKenya & the County Governments ....(1)

of Isiolo and Meru. Though administratively in Meru, the Gambela Wetland is a vital "food basket" for Isiolo. This plan ensures sustainable land use & environmental conservation, directly boosting food security and providing essential pasture and fodder for our livestock.(2)

We also celebrated the success of the "TVET Mashinani" initiative—a "classroom without walls" model. This innovative approach is specifically designed to bridge the gap and reach our most vulnerable populations with life-changing skills. (4)

In my remarks, I affirmed that digital learning has moved beyond the pilot stage—it is now a governance commitment. To sustain this, we are prioritizing clear budget lines, strong policy alignment, and full institutionalization across our counties. From innovation to policy. (2)
