There is a Taoist story of an old farmer who had worked his crops for many years. One day his horse ran away. Upon hearing the news, his neighbors came to visit. “Such bad luck,” they mournfully replied.

“Maybe,” the farmer countered.

The next morning the horse returned, bringing with it three other wild horses. “How wonderful,” the neighbors proclaimed.

“Maybe,” replied the old man.

The following day, his son Luther tried to ride one of the untamed horses, was thrown, and strained his groin. The neighbors again came to offer their sympathy for what they called his “Burden.”

“Maybe,” answered the farmer.

Due to this new groin injury, his son sat out the remainder of training camp. And so, the injury temporarily abated the otherwise inevitably meteoric rise of his ADP, and kept him in the Round 5-6 range in fantasy drafts all August.

The farmer's son soon returned to full health. And would then dominate on the gridiron, fulfilling the oracle's prophecy of becoming a full-fledged Exodia for the 2026 fantasy season.

"What good fortune!" the neighbors exclaimed.

"Bet.", replied the farmer.
