@PaulKealy @FastfixE@WeaverRacing@BetfairExchange@BetfairRacing Surely if you are not backing it yourself you shouldn't put it up in the paper. You are senior enough in the office I would have thought to say you don't agree with the muggy concept of it
@BenColeyGolf I didn't say resign Ben come on and yes writing a tipping piece for the life is different to say joining LIV in a journalistic role but it will still look a little hypocritical to some. Anyway a 40/1 LIV winner pays the same as a 40/1 PGA winner and that's all the readers want
@BenColeyGolf Then one day start producing previews in order to get views etc as it will generate hits/revenue for your site. Think it will be fair to say it wouldn't be a great look for you. I imagine you'd probably acknowledge that even if the decision is made for you
@BenColeyGolf As you said TV makes all the difference to betting turnover. That could change things.
I am not a big fan of LIV as such but not particularly annoyed about it either.
Just think it's fair to say if you retweet anti LIV tweets regularly, get annoyed by players joining for cash
@BenColeyGolf Certainly a long way to go, but it may seem very different again even post Fed Ex and Presidents Cup. That picture probably says alot about the state of Betfair these days as well tbf. Good luck.
@BenColeyGolf I'll certainly be surprised if it doesn't overtake the DPWT in terms of relevance at some point in the next 18 months but fair play if you stick to your principles and want nothing to do with it.
@BenColeyGolf Very hypocritical though some of it. I saw Sky Sports grilling Kaymer when that same network will actively be hyping up Joshua v Usyk when they fight in Saudi for insane money and selling all the ppv's they can out of it
