@BelTel@niamh_journo Maybe time for them to consider not spending their money on alcohol and costly phone tariffs, etc.
Maybe they could get a part-time job?
Always the victims
Honoured to have been asked to serve on President Connolly’s Council of State. As a woman born into a working class family in east Belfast, I am proud to have the opportunity to promote good neighbourliness and understanding across the island.
Dermot is 22 years old - why are young people like him from a nationalist background not considering a career in policing?

Dermot Hamill is a breath of fresh air. Youthful honesty providing an insight that everyone truly interested in building a proper, representative police service should listen to very carefully.

There is clear campaign by nefarious Nationalists and Republicans to silence Unionists in forums of debate, particularly at Queen’s University. I’m hearing of a number of strong Unionist voices being rejected from speaking at their debating society! Is this their ‘new Ireland’?
Of course no one should get death threats, no matter how despicable Oxford student George Abaraonye's words were after Charlie Kirk's murder.
But the person I feel most sorry for is the poor sixth former who worked hard and got three grade As or A*s at A level but was rejected by Oxford because the university decided to offer a place to Abaraonye with only ABB grades, well below the entrance requirement. That's the real victim here.
Not your president though is it.
You serve people in the United Kingdom. Respect that.
The one thing I can respect about the SNP is that they don’t just pretend they’re not in the UK and at least they actually represent their constituents in British parliament.
