Trump will REMAIN President, but what he CAN'T do now:
1. *Can't pass any law:*
Needs Parliament. With Democrats at 90, all his bills will be blocked.
2. *Can't get money:*
Parliament controls the budget. No funding for his MAGA projects, Wall etc.
3. *Faces Impeachment Risk:* Democrats can start investigations and even move impeachment.
4. *Can't appoint Judges/Officials freely:* Senate will block his picks.
5. *Can't do big foreign deals:*
Trade deals, war funding needs Parliament nod.
In short: He will stay in the White House, sign Executive Orders, but Parliament and Courts can overturn them.
He becomes a *Lame Duck President* - President in name, powerless in reality.
#USMidterms
Spain colonized Philippines for 300 years, named the country after a Spanish king.
America then came along, took the colony from Spain, killed a million Filipino “freedom fighters” so America can “civilize the barbarians”
Then Japan came and burnt Manila to the ground
But China is the enemy supposedly even though China have never done anything to Philippines
Democrats that won tonight need to understand something: voters rejected Trump’s chaos, economic failures, attacks on democracy, and disregard for the rule of law.
This wasn’t a blank check. It was a demand for change.
Now DELIVER.
@HankMullaney@Savsays And yet somewhat suprisingly, middle-school name calling made no difference in the end.
It's as if the voting public are done with hateful, right-wing social media "influencers" and their single digit IQs
@Savsays Savannah, this post perfectly illustrates how far-right influencers fueled the very backlash they fear. When political discourse becomes a steady stream of insults, division, and manufactured outrage, don’t be surprised when voters reject the message and the messengers.
