@DISCIPLE_0311@huuep@MLeeJr@elonmusk Nice one. That blue-purple hat and purple pocket on the orange body make a strong brother match for my #5479. OCM Genesis forever on-chain.
Finally got hold of OCM Genesis by @OnChainMonkey🐒
There’s few - if any - collections on Bitcoin with better provenance than OnChainMonkeys. OCM Genesis is the king of Firsts👑 Here’s a few:
🔸 First 10k images of a collection inscribed on Bitcoin: Inscription #20219.
🔸 First 10k collection to use Parent-Child Provenance.
🔸 First 10k cursed collection.
🔸 First 10k collection to officially migrate from Ethereum to Bitcoin.
🔸 First 10k collection to have multiple parents using Parent-Child Provenance.
A first they don’t have, is being the First 10k collection on Bitcoin🟧 One of my reservations for getting into OCM, has been the "noise" surrounding the 10k debacle.
I’m confident though, that OCM will embrace their massive list of provenances and Firsts, and continue building a community around the values of !RISE.
… and what do you think @lifofifo, is OCM a 10k or 20k collection?😉 I’m sorry, the Bitcoin Punker in me (@Bitcoin_Punks_) couldn’t resist making one last pun😅🙈 I’ll stop now. I promise😊
Either way, meet OCM Genesis #947🟧
Some of the best / top projects and communities on ordinals are @PlanetsBitcoin and @OnChainMonkey
So proud of @CreatorBitcoin
Never stops!! If you’re not exploring this side of ordinals you are absolutely missing out!
Art and collectibles on Bitcoin. The number of collectors in the space is small today. However, as tokenization and digital assets become more widely accepted, some of these early works will be highly sought after!
And congrats to @mfigge for having Twelvefold as part of the landmark gift of digital art to @LACMA.
Art on Bitcoin 🔥
Yoooo solana:dog1viwbb2vWDpER5FrJ4YFG6gq6XuyFohUe9TXN65u Army!!!
I feel guilty for being away but I promise I’ve been holding all my solana:dog1viwbb2vWDpER5FrJ4YFG6gq6XuyFohUe9TXN65u since April 2024 ain’t a damn thing changed.
You just gotta go Ghost sometimes and fix things, grind harder, and come up with banger plans.
One of those plans is turning the Dog of Bitcoin foundation into one of the most influential foundations in the space. This is not going to happen overnight!
I’m going to do my best to show up today, miss all yall!!! 🚀
I don’t think OS will do anything positive for the Ordinals space and I think it’s completely unnecessary. The elephant in the room is simply more demand and user retention, but if we go even further back to the core, it’s the network.
Ordinals has better marketplaces than most other NFT chains. Buying an Ordinal is simple: download Xverse, go to a marketplace and buy. That’s not the problem.
The problem is that the current web3 space is saturated and has no interest in Ordinals or perhaps it once did but, quite logically, has completely lost interest. Within the old network (the Ordinals space), the extraction has been extreme and to this day, this system remains intact because the network is intact. By "network", I mean the timeline that most Ordinals people follow.
And as long as that timeline shows the same manipulated top 10 projects as "this is Ordinals", nothing will ever change for the old Ordinals space. And it remains a repetitive cycle of "Ordinals are dead" and "Ordinals are back" based on only 10 projects. Of course people are walking away.
But outside that network and that timeline, a lot is happening. It’s simply a matter of following other people, looking at other projects and suddenly the Ordinals space changes dramatically. But what could bring about even more change is attracting new people from outside Web3. The world is big, web3 is small. Simple.
OS will only add Ordinals if it has a direct stake in them and perhaps it’s a good sign that they don’t, because in web3, a stake usually means direct connections to VC projects and the ability to manipulate and extract value. Maybe OS is just more ethical and stays away from that. Unlike other major web3 marketplaces...
Suppose OS were to add Ordinals, that wouldn’t bring in new users, because where would they come from? If OS users were looking for new projects, there’s already plenty to find on OS itself besides Ordinals. In web3, supply far exceeds demand. Ordinals add to the supply, not the demand.
So what’s the solution? Attract new people from outside web3. Show them legitimate projects, quality and real communities. And the Proof of Work behind a project. What does a founder actually do? Who’s here during a bull market and during a bear market? What are the on-chain facts and what’s just stories?
If you want change, the first step is easy: change your timeline.
We’re building @OnChainMonkey! 🍌
Hold an OCM—or curious about joining?
Come say hi in Discord general chat.
I just shared a New Orleans perk for holders, with something extra for Dimensions 300 & Celestials.
