@Real_Sean_Brady @Ben_Everitt At our rate I thought the number was infinite cash required, but it turns out it’s unknown and probably why I got an N for A-level maths 21 years ago! Still Matlab agrees it’s Inf and may be one other i/j difference between engineers and scientists. Must go to work now :)

It’s a huge loss so many Physics depts closed in the late 90’s early 00’s and hopefully one @CranfieldUni MK:U will address locally

Scaling up of lab testing “The testing would be rolled out in workplace, entertainment venues, football stadiums, GP surgeries, pharmacies, schools and other local sites.“ - Independent. Followed by home testing.

We fund these entirely ourselves, so no need to worry about scrutiny.

I’ve spent 3 of the last 7 days working unfunded on this before the announcement, so didn’t know what it was other than we could help and had been eager to do our bit ever since I joined the scientist crowdfight covid campaign in March
