“No. It's creative estimating. When you get an assignment, you exaggerate how long its gonna take, then you're a hero when it's done early.”

@hayleymagill@OrthopodReg It’s beyond comprehension how two-faced it can be. Sing your praises collectively and encourage the public to clap, individually treat you like the lowest of all.
A question though. When asking about pursuing, was the deanery discouraging or ensuring awareness?
@timricketts_ For me it was two-fold. Firstly having an open conversation with my employer - what benefits could I bring back to the workplace (e.g. access to academic papers). Second was studying at an exceptional institution that catered explicitly to part-time study. I give you @BirkbeckUoL
So I managed to get onto Trac for a total of three minutes before I got a 402 Bad Gateway response and a hanging screen trying to load an application…
Oops.

@nlygo@geordiecrews@sackrobson7@MrHarryCole And that is today’s education.
Though it does suggest that while this is an acceptable way of structuring a letter, the social media traction shows a collective national confusion and a need to change?
@geordiecrews@sackrobson7@DJCooperHealth@MrHarryCole it's so journalists, on very busy days, have something else to write about.
Instead of the name and address being above the 'Dear xxx', it's placed after the signature of the sender.
It's a rather dated way of sending letters, but perfectly acceptable.
For someone who works in the NHS and who has an academic background in biomedicine and analytical techniques, it is fascinating to see how this develops and what we have learned from recent times. https://t.co/BG33zIaKiF
#NHS#frontline workers have immense patience, working in consistently challenging conditions where emotions inevitably run higher than any other workplace, often more hours than paid.
Everyone - patients, families, professionals need to #TakeAMoment to think before they speak.
For those into walking meditations, my favourite is very apt for #AntiBullyingWeek - everyone you see gets a positive thought. Sometimes I verbalise it, even directly to them. Having had similar about my hair when it was blue I can attest to the feel good power for the recipient!
Definitely supporting this. Years of bullying when I was younger and still see that behaviour from people I barely know today. Great to see that my new work family are behind this.
#AntiBullyingWeek
Next Week is Anti-Bullying Week and it has the theme ‘One Kind Word’. You can take part in Odd Sock Day on Monday or pledge the support of your organisation. See the Anti-Bullying Alliance website for more info.

We believe #OneKindWord leads to another. It can change the course of a conversation & break the cycle of bullying.
That's why we're supporting #AntiBullyingWeek 2021 this November. You can too: https://t.co/yL4yrAdyJ1 @abaonline

Hey @OED. I was looking up dalliance and saw the example used a heterosexual and it prompted a question.
Do you use non-heterosexual relationships in your usage examples at all?
The #NHS#Backlog is only going to get worse. We all have a role to play - be accountable for our own health to support prevention; seek care at the earliest opportunity; support efforts to trial new approaches to care.

OK - I blame CovID and the Govt for a general lack of enthusiasm for Christmas for not even having the #JohnLewisChristmasAdvert on my radar this year...
