@FictionIRL@riennezelda That white piece of plastic that you see in the pic was glued into place sitting perfectly flush right beneath the L shaped bracket, so it can’t bend or crack due to actuation force pressure over time.
@FictionIRL@riennezelda I’ve been using self made/installed mech switches for 3 years and found that those tabs would tend to crack or break off in about 6 months for me (yoshi main so might be just mashing parry). Still probably a decent idea to reinforce even if you have a light touch.
@FictionIRL@riennezelda In my case I’m just using phob magnet mounts cut in half with a flush cutter and then glued (before putting stuff in the shell just to prevent getting glue on stuff)
@FictionIRL@riennezelda The little “L” shaped brackets in the shell that the keyboard switches sit on can tend to crack/break off over time, so I’ve started to super glue another appropriately sized piece of scrap plastic or metal underneath them (sitting parallel and flush) to add extra reinforcement.
@MVG_Mew2King Have you gotten the triggers modified like cutting your springs shorter or installing trigger plugs? Makes it so you don’t have use as much force or press the trigger down nearly as far. It will take time to adjust to the timing difference but it’s better for your hands.
