Had to stop a lesson today and explain why “that’s so gay” is offensive. Got told it didn’t matter because no one in class was gay...quite a few surprised faces when I told them I was 🏳️‍🌈

This is the sort of thing us queer writers/illustrators get all the time for writing LGBTQ+ inclusive books for kids.

This is why the LGBTQ+ community is better united and together.
