I know that DBD's 10th year Anniversary Event is going to be a banger solely off of the 1 game I've played so far. The "dash forward" they mention here is VERY reminiscent of the old "dead hard for distance" boost and I know people are going to do dumb things with it LMAO

The irony is that the game kicked me back to the intro screen as soon as the game ended so I couldn't even thank my 2 teammates for a pretty incredible save involving someone Dead on Hook taking a hit to save me 👏👏

The upgrades are complete! The CPU / cooler came Thursday.
Safe to say this feels like a totally different system; it boots up more quickly, sorts through files more quickly, and plays my most frequent games on 120FPS quite easily (DBD, Trackmania, and Warframe).

Graduating is the perfect time to treat myself to a higher hz, 1440p monitor and a better cpu, to match the graphics card I got as a gift last year :)

The monitor came today, and it instantly feels better and looks more crisp

@crucifix Never really played those games myself either, though I def see the similarities and differences. Closest I've gotten would probably be the Animal Crossing games; I played the DS and Switch ones a LOT.

Over the course of like two weeks, Amanda and I have put hella time into a Stardew Valley farm (my first real time playing) and I have both:
-Learned why people enjoy this game (mostly the non-farming bits LMAO)
-Gotten tired of the daily/monthly time cycle & grind
