Husband filed paperwork to contest deportation—but ICE said she was already gone.

Lawyer says that's a lie.
"They gave us the runaround... did not give her meaningful due process."

Heidy Sanchez was in the process of applying for permanent status because she's now married to a U.S. citizen.

"She had no criminal records, she had a petition from her husband, she had a fighting chance," according to her lawyer."

Instead, ICE decided to traumatize her infant daughter—who suffers from seizures and other health issues—so much so that she had to be rushed to the hospital.
