This week's #ThirtiesThursday garment is this Nina Ricci black crepe georgette two-piece evening dress printed with multicoloured abstract flowers. Dating from c. 1938, the haute couture dress has a draped, Grecian-inspired silhouette.

Macoto Takahashi sadly passed away on November 17 at the age of 90 due to his battle with cancer.

He was a pioneer shoujo mangaka whose works are credited for significantly influencing the aesthetic of classic shoujo. RIP.

@SketchesbyBoze I don't think it was just 'shaming' - one showed him his past, one showed him some perspective about how his actions affect other people, and another showed the consequences of what would happen to not just him but everyone else around him.

@mistresstailor Hugh Jackman has a story about doing his one man show in SF and they just bought 3 off the rack Hugo Boss suits and he said he just kept ripping seams in the pants so they realized they had to hire a costumer and it taught him the importance of what they do.
