Great🧵summarizing how short-range aerosol transmission of respiratory viruses such as SARS-CoV-2 has been historically mislabeled as droplet spread... #COVIDisAirborne
1/ HOW COVID TRANSMISSION WORKS: the short version
I believe it is extremely important to communicate clearly how transmission really happens.
Then, one can understand easily real ways to limit transmission. And it reduces resistance to e.g. masks.
Ontario Superior Court judge finds that a dismissed employee was entitled to a greater amount of notice of termination because he was let go in June.

@TheLawofWork May be difficult to establish intent to injure (GM+Team B will allege self-interest as defence). Could claim unlawful means (breach of contract/fiduciary duty + inducing breach of contract) if scheme was planned while GM was still GM of Team A, but could ultimately be merged?
The #BCNursesUnion stands with @CFNU, @canadanurses and @CMS_Docs to call on every British Columbian to help reduce the pressure on our overburdened health care system this winter. #bcpoli
To @Dave_Eby:
Heed @humanrights4BC@KasariGovender’s words in her now-released Apr.12/22 letter, reiterating her call for universal mask PROTECTIONS & rebutting DBH excuses.
As new premier, you have the opportunity to make a difference.

@dont73@dinahlestockKay@rdumont99 Imposing a consequence (i.e., masking) only applicable to HCWs exercising their express right to refuse, without sufficient scientific justification, was a breach of the collective agreement: https://t.co/Z3829FQEfL /end
@dont73@dinahlestockKay@rdumont99 One final point. The part of the policy that was being challenged was the requirement of HCWs to wear a mask at all times during flu season, despite an express right under the collective agreement to refuse any required vaccination. /1
@dont73@dinahlestockKay@rdumont99 As @dont73 points out, the science has evolved substantially over the last several years. We have clear evidence of asymptomatic transmission of SARS-CoV-2 playing a key role during the pandemic & scientists are revisiting the significance of such transmission for other viruses.
