"Based purely on capitation fee" - then why does the institute even have these 'non merit based' seats, if this is how we're treated? We apparently didn't work to get admission at all & are undeserving of any consideration during a pandemic. 🤗

NIFT IS SIMPLY WORDPLAYING WITH US ! DO THEY THINK WE ARE ILLITERATE ? WE CLEARLY DEMANDED A REDUCTION IN THE ONGOING FEES NOT IN THE HIKE OF THE FEES. AND NOW THEY HAVE THE AUDACITY TO TELL US YO DROP OUT!!

So by this logic, any reservation including NRI seats = non merit based admission, right? How callous can someone be? We're not asking for a discount on something trivial, all students have worked hard to get admission and are affected by the pandemic!

All students, whether pure NRI or not, get seats based on SAT scores/their rank in same national entrance as other students. Us and our parents are affected by the pandemic too - we deserve some consideration too.

#reduceniftsemesterfees !!!! An unchanged fees making students pay for labs and facilities we are not using at all, without any consideration of the effects of the pandemic, like a reduction or payment relaxation (like installments) is so unfair! #ReduceNiftSemesterFees
