Today 5th of August 2024, Tinubu's evil government arrested me. My arrest was ordered by the presidency. The secretary to the government of the Federation (SGF) made the order on behalf of the government, because i was exposing too many corruption in this government with hard evidence. The current IGP of police, Tunji Disu, then as commissioner of Police Rivers state command, sent a killer squad of anti-kidnapping police officers to abduct me. 21 of them with 4 unmarked tinted SUV'S.

I was dehumanized, tortured, starved, and flown on handcuffs to Abuja. I was detained for 28 days at FCID, charged to court for treason and terrorism, sent to Kuje prison for 34 days, granted bail and thrown into a long prosecution/persecution for 12 months in court, where all my rights were denied me.

They wanted me dead, but God said No.
They wanted me incarcerated for life, but God said No.

What is my crime? Just Being a journalist that says truth to power and expose all forms of corruption in government.

There is no price too heavy to pay for freedom. Despite my ordeal, despite my setbacks, i shall continue to hold Tinubu's evil government accountable.
I shall expose all injustice and corruption in this government. I will not rest until Tinubu is sent packing from AsoRock. I don't wish him well. I don't wish his government well. I will use everything within my powers to campaign against him and his evil APC party.

So help me God.

I watched with disappointment the recent interview granted by Senator Ali Modu Sheriff to Channels Television on Monday.

After a prolonged absence from public discourse, one would have expected that time away might have sharpened Senator Sheriff’s judgment. Regrettably, that does not appear to be the case.

In the interview, the former governor claimed that Peter Obi cannot command sizeable support in Northern Nigeria. It is curious that he has appointed himself spokesperson for the Northern masses. For the record, in his first outing on the presidential ballot, Mr. Obi secured approximately 2.8 million votes in the region — a remarkable achievement that cannot be dismissed lightly.

Given the current national hardships, the widespread consensus on the failure of the APC administration, and the addition of a strong Northern figure to the ticket who previously garnered 1.45 million votes in the region, the OK ticket remains a formidable force in Northern politics.

Even more surprising was Senator Sheriff’s assertion that the people of Kano would not vote for Mr. Obi. Let me state clearly: the good people of Kano are neither bigoted nor xenophobic. They have consistently demonstrated strong trust in the Kwankwasiyya movement and will support any credible ticket presented under its banner.

I respectfully advise Senator Sheriff that, in future national television appearances, he would do better to speak to the serious insecurity and humanitarian challenges facing his home state, rather than making divisive and poorly considered remarks.

The OK ticket currently represents the best opportunity for Nigerians to reset the country and place it on a path of competence, unity, and progress. - RMK

Grand Corruption: Nigeria’s Greatest Threat.

The recent report from the IMF consultation further raises concerns about the scale of grand corruption under the Tinubu government. The IMF now reveals that about N8.83 trillion in expenditure undertaken in 2025 is not reflected in the budget. This expenditure is not budgeted and is therefore not under legislative oversight or administrative scrutiny. This is horrible.

N8.83 trillion is as follows:

1.About 2% of our GDP.

2.Over 35% of Nigeria’s 2025 N23.96 trillion capital project budget. In fact, the amount is more than the actual released capital funding for 2025.

If such an amount is properly used and accounted for, it could transform Nigeria’s public health and education sectors. It could create hundreds of cottage industries that can provide jobs for thousands of graduates and build a solid foundation for economic development. But we cannot account for it. This is not an isolated incident.

This is a pattern of grand corruption that has become part of this administration.
We have a lot to worry about regarding the state of corruption under President Tinubu. The sort of corruption that is ingrained in total disregard of elementary rules of public finance management poses a grave danger to national security and the stability of the Nigerian state. The capture of the Nigerian state and the plunder of its resources are actions that undermine the basis of state stability and deepen poverty and state failure.

This recent revelation proves that the APC government is grossly corrupt, incompetent, and insensitive. With the growing poverty and the urgent need for significant upgrades to social and physical infrastructure, a responsible and responsive government would ensure that N8.83 trillion is prudently utilised to address these gaps. But not the Tinubu administration.

A few days ago, I called on President Tinubu to resign from office for incompetence, lack of capacity, lack of compassion, and failure to improve on his campaign promises. Some people thought perhaps the call was excessive. But with the daily revelations of pervasive corruption in this administration and its total lack of commitment to the welfare and security of Nigerian citizens, the only reasonable action is for President Tinubu to resign from office. The collapse of elementary forms of due process under Tinubu and the increased evidence of rampant looting of Nigerian public finances reinforce the need for greater accountability. It is now time for Nigerian citizens to rise within the law and hold this administration to account.

The Centre for Reform and Public Advocacy (CFRPA) has filed a suit at the Federal High Court in Kano seeking the disqualification of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu from the 2027 presidential election over allegations of certificate forgery.

According to court documents seen by Daily Trust, the plaintiff alleged that Tinubu presented forged academic certificates from Chicago State University and a fake National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) discharge certificate to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) during the 2023 elections. The suit, marked FHC/K/CS/312/2026, lists Tinubu, INEC, and Chicago State University as defendants. The plaintiff contended that Tinubu never attended Government College Lagos as claimed, noting that the school was established in 1974, four years after Tinubu allegedly graduated. The CSO further argued that Tinubu does not possess a valid secondary school certificate, which is the minimum constitutional requirement to contest for the presidency. It claimed that INEC had failed to act on its petition dated June 19, 2026, demanding clarification on Tinubu’s eligibility. In its statement of claims, the group referenced a 2023 U.S. court ruling in In Re: Application of Atiku Abubakar (No. 23 CV 05099), which compelled Chicago State University to release Tinubu’s academic records.

The plaintiff insisted those records revealed false entries and inconsistencies, including a forged University of Cambridge General Certificate of Education. The prayers asked by the plaintiff included declaration of forgery against Tinubu’s Chicago State University certificate, issuance of an order directing INEC to disqualify him from the 2027 presidential election, directing CSU to strike Tinubu’s name from its records and perpetual injunction restraining INEC from uploading Tinubu’s name as a candidate. The plaintiff also submitted affidavits of non-multiplicity of action, witness statements, and letters to the NYSC and the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, demanding disclaimers on the alleged fake NYSC certificate.

Early this morning i discovered that MTN Nigeria is secretly subscribing their customers to things they never applied for, and they are doing it in the middle of the night when their customers are less active with their phones. The worst part of it is that, they set all these dubious subscriptions on auto renewal every midnight when you are fast asleep or less active with your phone. They will be deducting money every midnight from your account, without you even noticing. They are taking this advantage because they know Nigerians don't read messages from telecommunication companies. We just ignore, cancel, delete, or swipe without paying true attention to details, so they are capitalizing on that. They also know customers will not notice their tricks easily.

On the 23rd of june 2026, at about 12:01 am, MTN Nigeria @MTNNG sent me a message without me even noticing. The message reads "Dear customer, you have successfully subscribed to MEGA WINS - SLOT DAILY and NO deduction from your account. Your service will be renewed on 24/06/2026/ 00:01"

On the 24th of June 2026, at about 12:06 am, MTN Nigeria sent me a message, but this time i noticed it because of something. The message reads "Dear customer, your subscription to MEGA WINS - SLOT DAILY has been renewed successfully and 100 Naira deducted from your account. This service will expire and auto renew on 25/06/2026/ 00:06"

MTN Nigeria, i did not subscribe to MEGA WINS - SLOT DAILY, I have never subscribed, i can never subscribe, and i will never subscribe to MEGA WINS - SLOT DAILY. Surprisingly you people intentionally stole my 100 naira from my account, which cost me a 4 billion naira property business deal that i was supposed to seal. I woke up by midnight to call my client based on the appointment i had, but was shocked to notice that my credit has been dubiously deducted without my consent. I couldn't make the call, i couldn't reach the client, so i lost the business. But i must see to the end of this secret thievery.

MTN has 96.4 million active subscribers in Nigeria. If they should
successfully pull this secret midnight subscription scam with daily auto renewal on just 2 million of their subscribers for 30 days, it's a whooping 6 billion naira in illegal returns. If they do it for 12 months, it's a massive 72 billion naira in illegal returns.

Let's put this into context,

Zubairu has N1,000 in his Zenith bank account and he went to Okechukwu and borrowed N5,000.

He took N3,000 from this N5,000 loan and deposited into his Zenith bank account and the account balance increased to N4,000. And he used the remaining N2,000 to flex suya and kunu.

He now called his girlfriend Yetunde and showed her his balance of N4,000; telling her he's account balance is increasing.

Meanwhile, he is owing Okechukwu N5,000.

Is this a progress for Zubairu or backwardness?
