[News] 🚨⚠️🦁 New details for World of Lion King at #DisneyAdventureWorld

➡️ The project, in development since 2022, began construction last year shortly after its permit was approved & promises a “unique & a deeper level of immersion than ever before".

➡️The entire #WorldofLionKing land will span more than 30,000 m², with a Pride Rock rising 37m high, and will also include:
➖ A 14,000 m² flume type attraction (largest show building ever constructed at #DisneylandParis)
➖ A shop integrated at the attraction exit,
➖ A food kiosk, restrooms,
➖ A character meet'n'greet area...
➡️ 🎢 The attraction will re-tell the story of Simba through its iconic musics across 19 scenes, featuring 2 lifts, 3 drops, combining bioluminescent technology, detailed environments or advanced Audio-Animatronics! But also:
➖ A gigantic final scene⚠️,
➖ A 16-meter final drop,
➖ A dual-platform loading station (more capacity).
➡️ 🌳 🇹🇿 Vegetation will rely on locally adapted plant species carefully shaped to recreate the African savanna atmosphere:
➖ Themed pathways & landscape designed to shield visual intrusions from Adventure Bay,
➖ A giant baobab tree dedicated to Rafiki,
➖ Buildings inspired by traditional Tanzanian architecture!

➡️ 🚧 Following the completion of major earthworks in late 2025, the project has now entered the vertical construction phase, marking the next stage in the development of this new immersive world:
➖ Follow step by step evolution, with aerials, analysis or live reports on #DLPWorks

➡️The first fully themed Lion King land ever created in a #Disney park by #WaltDisneyImagineering is led by Beth Clapperton (Awarded by prestigious TEA).
➖ Early models have already been reviewed by Disney Legends including Andreas Deja or Don Hahn.

[Live] 🚧🦁 The World of Lion King is rising fast!

➡️ One of the fastest-moving construction projects at #DisneylandParis is undoubtedly the future Lion King-themed land!
➡️ Numerous new walls have been erected across the site, while additional columns have also been installed:
➖ From the park pathways, the cranes remain highly active + the skyline has already changed as more vertical structures become visible!

➡️ At Adventure Way, walls surrounding the site have been repositioned, expanding the overall work zone!
➡️ The roof has now received most of its wooden framework, while insulation work is being applied to the façades.
➡️ The recently installed domes have been surrounded by metal panels & protective tarps #DisneylandParis

➡️ Beyond the parks, the resort experience continues through Disney Village, currently undergoing a huge transformation! And of course, the iconic Disney Hotels!
➡️ Further, Val d’Europe, the town developed next to the parks, is still expanding as the resort continues to grow!

➡️ Construction is underway next to Boulevard du Parc on a new earth berm!
➡️ Located south of the land reserved for the future #DisneylandParis 3rd park (a project included in the 1987 convention, which could be developed in the long term).

➡️ The section near Hotel Cheyenne is nearly complete, with paving, lampposts and landscaping finished:
➖ Reopening should happen soon!
➡️ Work continues in phases on the middle section, where curbs and lampposts are installed but paving and grass are still missing.
➡️ Further along the Rio Grande, the renovated section has reopened with no major visual changes here in #DisneylandParis

[Analysis] 🚧 🛎️ Hotel renovations at #DisneylandParis!

➡️ At Hotel New York, a specialized height-access team was repainting part of the facade.
➡️ Hotel Newport roofs are getting regular cleaning, as we reported on Aug30 2025:
➖ A clear contrast between cleaned & uncleaned sections is visible.
➡️ The major refurbishment of Hotel Sequoia continues in the annex lodges, with scaffolding installation and protected guest walkways visible on site.
➡️ At Hotel Cheyenne, repairs to the wooden awning continue behind the tarps.

[Analysis] 🚧 Where has the Animagique Theater triptych gone?

➡️ Since January 2026, two banners displaying the poster for Mickey and the Magician have been removed, leaving the supports exposed.
➡️ Initially taken down following a storm, they have still not been reinstated, possibly pending a creative change? #DisneylandParis

[Analysis] 🚧 Latest update on the new Frontierland figures addition!

➡️ The area around the waterfall, just opposite Old Joe's cabin, has recently been cleared.
➖ Yellow stakes have been placed in 3 locations (likely for does).
➡️ The new scenes are expected to be installed by the end of summer, as announced by #DisneylandParis.

[Analysis] 🚧 Update on Sleeping Beauty Castle Bridge Refurbishment!

➡️ Behind the tarps displaying the Castle's design, work continues with the removal of the bridge's decking!
➡️ Fountains & other technical elements will remain deactivated during the project, currently scheduled to continue until September at #DisneylandParis.
