Bottom line: if you want to get recruited, become undeniable. Shoot low scores. Win. Get good grades. Track stats. Build your mental game. Be the full package. That is the stuff coaches bet scholarships on.
Want to get recruited for college golf? Stop thinking like a high school golfer and start thinking like a college coach. They are not recruiting golf swings on video. They are recruiting players who can post scores, compete under pressure, be a great teammate, and help them win
When you email coaches, include more than scores and a swing video. Include grades, tournament results, schedule, stats, and a little bit about how you compete. Let them see that they are getting a golfer who can perform, think, and represent the program well.
@jscottaz@CeliaPalermo Excellent point. It will probably even out, but the five spots from QSchool is a big step in the right direction. I'd love to see that number continue to grow!
