I always wanted to play Division 1 football. People didn’t think I had what it takes. My high school team was cut my senior year forcing me to transfer to a new school midseason. I had no stars out of high school and went to JUCO. I left JUCO early with no offers and bet on myself. I showed up to the front doorsteps of many D1 schools and never heard back. At times I felt lost, but I never gave up. Through perseverance, I eventually got the opportunity to not just play against D1 opponents on ESPN but play against my old JUCO coach @CoachSpo_ @LamarFootball on ESPN. I’m also fortunate enough to have gotten the opportunity to play against future FBS opponent @kennesawstfb and finish my season against the #5 FCS team in the nation @FAMU_FB. I’m forever thankful for this game. This game has helped me develop as a man and build character traits that I will use the rest of my life. Thank you to all the coaches and programs that helped get me to this point. It’s been a long journey but it isn’t over just yet.
