@thingskatedid Yeah, even when a rewrite is genuinely advisable, the reason will often have something to do with cost of maintenance, which is related to navigability.

Or, it's an early prototype, and rewriting it would be trivial and allow for a different design more suited to the problem.

Even in most actual RSA cryptosystems, public key is usually a fixed, small number. Usually 5 or 65537, for performance reasons.

@mattsibleycopy @RealSexyCyborg I came across her via "bunnie* Huang. He said she was being called a fake but is a legit engineer. I looked, and---yup. Her competence was rather obvious if you know electronics, imo, but prejudice is a powerful thing. I bought a 3D printer she endorsed; it didn't disappoint.
